Excessive ethanol intakes have been reported to be linked liver diseases such as hepatitis and cancerrelated of ethanol. can lead the accumulation reactive oxygen species(ROS) depletion glutathione (GSH) in liver. Ethanol-induced oxidative stress substantiallyincreases peroxidation lipid decreases GSH levels human hepatocyte animal models.Ethanol contributes sterol regulating element-binding protein activation (SREBP)-1 by maingenes Acetyl-CoA carboxylase (ACC) Stearoyl-CoA desaturase 1(SCD1) facilitate lipidaccumulation The liquid fraction derived from wolfberry is lycium barbarum polysaccharide(LBP). In many disease models, it an effective antioxidant tissue protective agent. Researchershave shown hepato-protective functions acute hepatic injury, NAFLDs, drugs-induced injury andhepatocellularcarcinoma models. protection effect L. polysaccharides (LBP) this studyon ethanol-induced hepatocytes was explored. addition, influence LBP on oxidativestress activity examined.
